DeMar DeRozan, like many others, expressed his disapproval of Skip Bayless and his recent remarks regarding Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
This all started when Prescott bravely shared his struggles with depression following his brother’s tragic death. Bayless, a staunch Cowboys supporter, criticized Prescott for being open about his mental health battles.
DeRozan, a shooting guard for the San Antonio Spurs who has also been candid about dealing with depression in the past, took to Twitter to strongly rebuke Bayless for his lack of empathy:
Following the backlash, FS1, the network employing Bayless, released a statement on Thursday distancing themselves from Bayless’ viewpoints.
