Tennessee’s football team will sport fresh looks in the upcoming 2020 season. A sneak peek of their updated uniforms was shared on the Vols’ Twitter account via a short video clip.
The video, lasting 18 seconds, features a player in an orange hoodie with a backpack walking off the field at Neyland Stadium, heading towards the Vols’ home locker room.
Upon entering the locker room, the player approaches a locker containing an orange No. 20 jersey and retrieves a pair of white football pants with two orange stripes from the backpack.
After struggling with losses over the past two years, Tennessee turned things around with a 7-5 finish and a bowl game appearance. They clinched an 8-5 season by staging a remarkable comeback, erasing a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to secure a win against Indiana.
Should the 2020 season proceed as planned, the Vols’ new uniforms will debut to an audience composed entirely of empty seats.
