Iyanna Mayweather is potentially looking at serious charges and prison time following an incident where she allegedly stabbed another woman about a week ago.

Texas authorities have informed Iyanna and her famous boxer father that they intend to pursue aggravated assault charges, as reported by Bossip.

“The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has requested the medical records of Iyanna Mayweather’s alleged stabbing victim, Lapattra Jacobs, 24, for use as evidence in the case.

Assistant District Attorney Kenisha Day from Harris County obtained an order compelling the Houston hospital where Jacobs was treated to provide her medical charts, x-rays, lab results, photos, and other relevant information. These records will be crucial in building the case against Mayweather, according to court documents obtained by BOSSIP. Jacobs is known to have a child with Mayweather’s partner NBAYoungBoy.”

According to investigators, Iyanna visited NBA Youngboy’s residence in the Houston area earlier this month and confronted Jacobs about her presence. A heated argument ensued, during which Mayweather allegedly pulled out a knife and proceeded to stab her romantic rival multiple times, according to court records.

If found guilty, the 19-year-old could potentially face a sentence of up to 99 years in state prison.
