Marcos Maidana has made a bold statement regarding Floyd Mayweather that has raised eyebrows and stirred up conversation about a potential rematch between the two boxing rivals.

The ongoing rivalry between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana took an unexpected turn when Maidana took to social media to announce that he possesses one of Floyd Mayweather’s teeth, which he allegedly knocked out during their 2014 rematch.

Maidana, who faced Mayweather twice in 2014, ended his boxing career with two consecutive losses to the legendary fighter. In their second bout, during the third round, Maidana landed a powerful right hand on Mayweather, causing something to appear to fly out of Mayweather’s mouth. Maidana or someone from his team reportedly retrieved the tooth from the ring.

However, Mayweather has refuted Maidana’s claims, stating, “In the third round, when he hit me with that shot after the bell, it was a real good shot. It got my attention. It was nothing I never felt before, but it was a really good shot which got my attention. [But] no, he didn’t knock my teeth out.”

Mayweather acknowledged Maidana’s strength and punching power but vehemently denied the allegations that he lost a tooth during their fight.
