# UFC President Dana White Reportedly a Victim of Extortion in Sex-Tape Case
## Dana White, the UFC President, is facing a troubling situation as he has been identified as the target of a sex-tape extortion scam amounting to $200,000 that dates back to 2014 and 2015.
According to a report by the [Las Vegas Review Journal](https://www.reviewjournal.com/investigations/ufcs-dana-white-named-as-extortion-victim-in-sex-tape-case-1999477/), Ernesto Joshua Ramos, who previously served jail time for the offense, filed a lawsuit against White in Clark County District Court.
The saga began with an incident in October 2014 involving White and a stripper, with whom he reportedly had a two-year relationship despite being married. Allegedly, White paid the stripper $200,000 for intimate services in a private setting.
The situation took a dark turn when the stripper, who was in a relationship with Ramos and resided with him, secretly recorded her encounter with White in a hotel room. Ramos attempted to extort $200,000 from White but was arrested by FBI agents in January 2015 instead.
Ramos claimed in his lawsuit that White reneged on a deal made in April 2016 to pay him $450,000 in exchange for not disclosing White’s identity following the resolution of the criminal case. Ramos, a 42-year-old real estate agent and personal trainer, refuted the claims of demanding money from White and accused White’s legal team of providing false and defamatory information to the FBI to prompt an investigation into extortion charges against him.
Responding vehemently to the allegations, White issued a statement on Saturday, denouncing the lawsuit filed against him. He lambasted Ramos for enlisting a convicted felon as his attorney to pursue a new extortion attempt seeking $10 million. White clarified that he did not yield to blackmail previously and asserted that he would not succumb to it this time either. He expressed eagerness for the court to promptly dismiss the case and rid him of what he described as “scumbags” once and for all.
As part of an agreement with the authorities, Ramos is obligated to surrender any remaining illicit recordings and attest to the absence of any additional compromising videos.
