UFC President Dana White has squashed any hopes regarding Conor McGregor’s most significant fight yet. Speculation about a boxing match between McGregor and Logan Paul had been swirling online, but enthusiasm dwindled as official confirmations never materialized. Recently, White offered a pivotal update, refuting the rumors about ‘The Notorious’ preparing to enter the ring for this bout.

McGregor had ignited speculation of a boxing showdown with Logan Paul during an appearance in India, leading fans to wonder if this was the fight White had referenced earlier. However, White has now dismissed those notions, indicating that McGregor will not be fighting Paul or even KSI. He did, however, confirm McGregor’s anticipated return to the Octagon this autumn. In an interview, White stated,

White certainly stirred up excitement with his latest comments. While he put a stop to the rumors of McGregor battling Logan Paul or KSI, he confirmed that McGregor is set to return to the Octagon this fall. Fans are now left awaiting formal confirmation from White to unveil more details regarding the forthcoming fight.

Brendan Schaub Weighs in on $250M Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul Fight Rumor

Excitement erupted among fans when Conor McGregor hinted at a possible fight against Logan Paul in India, claiming he would earn $250 million. This audacious assertion rapidly garnered attention, prompting former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub to voice his skepticism. Schaub compared McGregor’s reported earnings to that of leading boxers like Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, whose combined payouts wouldn’t come close to $250 million. On his YouTube podcast ExtraThiccc, Schaub remarked,

“It will never, ever happen. So even if none of this darkness was going on. Let’s say he was 30-0, triple champ, quadruple champ, even if he was that. He still wouldn’t make $250 million [in the UFC].”

Schaub emphasized that even if McGregor held the title of the top pound-for-pound fighter globally, no UFC athlete, past or present, could ever earn $250 million in a single fight. He criticized the notion of McGregor, facing a YouTuber amidst ongoing controversies, making more than distinguished boxers, reinforcing that no UFC fighter could attain such a figure, regardless of their accolades.
