Tom Brady made it clear that he wouldn’t sign with a new team without having a say in the negotiations.
While there hasn’t been an official confirmation of his free-agent move yet, reports strongly indicate that he will be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The highly decorated quarterback with six Super Bowl wins bid farewell to New England in a statement on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the accomplishments of the team: “Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishments.”
Rumors suggested that Brady had narrowed his choices down to either the Chargers or the Buccaneers.
Reports surfaced on Wednesday indicating that Brady had laid out specific requirements for his new contract.

Both Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Chargers were presented with these terms.
