Turner’s academic credentials include a degree from the University of North Carolina and dual degrees in law and business from Harvard University.

Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Turner held a pivotal role in the consulting industry, notably contributing to the growth of a golf division. In 2014, he assumed the position of the third president of the G League, where he spearheaded initiatives to develop players and coaches and facilitated the introduction of two-way contracts with ten league clubs.
