Josh Gordon, NFL

For the first time, wide receiver Josh Gordon came in front of the reporters for the first time and stated that he will give his best and will make the most of his fresh start. He recently got traded to the New England Patriots two weeks ago.

While interacting with reporters, Josh Gordon stated that he does not doubt taking all the advantages of his first opportunity with the Patriots. He made his debut against the Miami Dolphins on 30th October 2018. The Patriots won the match with a 38-7 victory. In the match, he finished with two catches for 32 yards.

He further told the media that he is feeling grateful about such opportunities with the Patriots. Now, the only thing that he wants to do is to take full advantage of them. The team is great, and he feels comfortable as it offers him a real home environment.

Another interesting thing is that Gordon’s locker is right next to Tom Brady’s locker. He mentioned that the quarterback’s support would matter for him.

Talking more about Tom Brady, Gordon stated that he is feeling great as he is getting adequate support and love from Brady.

Due to a hamstring injury, Gordon has been limited to the team’s practice sessions. He was a part of the starting lineup and caught a 13-yard slant from Brady on third-and-6. It extended the opening drive end with a field goal.

He was credited by running back James White for holding his block during a 22-yard touchdown run by him and later added a 19-yard catch on third-and-3. Gordan ended the conference by saying that it was an awesome experience overall.

After Gordon’s effort, he became a major topic among players in the locker room. Chris Hogan stated that Gordon is a great football player and has a lot of great skills. Now, he is practicing more so that he can give the best and learn all the things about offense as quick as he can.
