Although Butler’s departure from Miami was not entirely amicable, he played a pivotal role in leading the Heat to two NBA Finals appearances and holds the franchise record for the most triple-doubles. Recently, Butler expressed doubts about rekindling his passion for the game while in Miami, stating in a post-game interview, “I want to see me get my joy back for playing basketball, and wherever that may be, we’ll find out here pretty soon.”
