Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders chuckled at the thought of enrolling in classes for the next semester, signaling that he clearly has his sights set on the NFL.

After Monday’s practice, as the team gathered, one coach was heard reminding the players, “8:30 am registration, 8:30 am… this is mandatory for everyone.”

Shedeur then asked, “Registration for what?”

To which someone replied, “Classes.”

Sanders laughed and responded, “You know I’m going to the league.”

A teammate jokingly teased Shedeur, saying, “We have registration, man. You’re coming back next year… we have registration.”

To which Sanders replied, “After that last game, y’all not gonna see me,”

This season, in just eight games, Coach Prime’s son has amassed 2,591 passing yards (completing 220 of 300 attempts) along with 21 touchdowns (with 6 interceptions).

The Colorado team currently holds a 6-2 record and is ranked No. 21 nationally. Their upcoming matchups include games against Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas, and Oklahoma State.

Shedeur’s father, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, has shared many insights regarding his son’s potential NFL future, particularly expressing a desire for him to avoid cold destinations.

There have also been speculations online about the 22-year-old’s preferred team, as an account on X indicated that Shedeur has tweeted “Thank you GOD” after every Raiders loss this season.

Critics have pointed out that he might be tweeting out of gratitude for it being Sunday, while others noted he has not tweeted the same following any Raiders (2-7) victory.

Sanders’ tweets may be interpreted as a subtle message, expressing that he finds satisfaction in the Raiders’ losses because they could lead to a better draft position for the Las Vegas team, as he is currently projected to be among the top three picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
