LIV Golf Offered $600-Million To Top PGA Tour Golfer

Jon Rahm might be the next well-known golfer to leave the PGA Tour for LIV Golf.

There have been speculations about the Masters champion making a move to the Saudi-backed league, with reports of an astronomical signing bonus in the range of $600 million.

The rumored signing bonus is detailed in a social media post here.

Rahm has previously spoken positively about LIV Golf, adding to the ongoing speculation surrounding his future in the world of golf.

Recently, golf journalist Alan Shipnuck claimed on social media that Phil Mickelson had been saying Rahm was set to join the breakaway league. Mickelson, however, promptly refuted the claims, stating, “This isn’t true, and I don’t know anything. I don’t want to know anything, and I haven’t said anything. Alan is the worst liar and a pathetic human.”

Until Rahm addresses the rumors himself, there will likely continue to be speculation about his potential move to LIV Golf, particularly given the significant contracts offered to other notable PGA Tour players.

Ranked No. 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking [OWGR], Rahm achieved a career milestone in the 2022-23 season by securing four wins on the PGA Tour for the first time.
