Combat sports doesn’t look like it may have a future for Greg Hardy.

After failing out of the UFC, the former NFL defensive end took his talents to the sport of boxing. It has not worked out for him.

On Friday night, Hardy faced off against Alexander Flores under Team Combat League promotion and things went badly for him on this night. The video shows Hardy being knocked down in the middle of the ring, but he was able to regain his composure and continue the fight.

Less than a minute later, he would be knocked down again as the ref moved in to stop the bout. Hardy could be seen stumbling around the ring.

The 34-year-old suffered the same fate back in February against Josh Watson at BKFC: Knucklemania 3 which took place at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque.

Despite his underdog status, Watson landed a huge punch that sensationally sent Hardy crashing into the ropes and forced referee Dan Miragliotta to give him a standing eight count. In round two, Watson landed a big right that put Hardy down for good.

Hardy’s demise in the sporting world is a welcome site to many.

In 2014, he was found guilty of assaulting a former girlfriend, although the case was later dismissed after he appealed. He was suspended for ten games for violating the NFL personal conduct policy.

Hardy left the NFL for good in 2015 and began pursuing an MMA career.

Now, his career is in shambles as he tries his hand at boxing.
