Former MLB hitter Aubrey Huff is at it again with a new conspiracy theory.
Huff, a two-time World Series winner with the San Francisco Giants, recently took to Twitter to accuse the NFL of covering up Damar Hamlin’s death following the player’s scare earlier this month. Hamlin has since made a public show of himself online to quell the noise as some fans had bought into the story, with others claiming he might be cloned.
Just one day after his ridiculous take on Hamlin, Huff was back on Twitter with another theory, suggesting Jessie Lemonier’s death was a result of the former NFL player getting vaxxed.
“I mean come on now,” he wrote. “Isn’t it time to start stating the obvious? If you’re in denial & worried…can’t say I blame you.
The Detroit Lions confirmed their ex-linebacker passed away at the age of 25 last Thursday. The cause of death is still unknown. Lemonier made seven appearances for the Lions in 2021, making 15 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He was signed by the Arizona Cardinals last summer but was released during training camp.
Most recently, the LB was drafted by the Arlington Renegades of the revamped XFL but signed with the Houston Gamblers and was then traded to the Birmingham Stallions.
Lemonier and his girlfriend were expecting a child at the time of his passing, according to the player’s agent.
“We are shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of former Detroit Lion Jessie Lemonier,” the Lions said in a statement. “Jessie was a model teammate and wonderful young man who is gone far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”
The 25-year-old had originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020, signing with the Los Angeles Chargers. He played six games for the team, registering a pair of tackles.
