The match was not as simple as the final score implies and demanded a spirited effort from the team. The home team took the lead with a goal from Brayan Moya in the 27th minute, maintaining their advantage until halftime. Just three minutes into the second half, 18-year-old Ricardo Pepi, in his international debut, assisted Antonee Robinson for the opening goal. Pepi scored in the 75th minute to put the USMNT in front. Not stopping there, he assisted Brenden Aaronson (86th) and Sebastian Lletget (93rd) to wrap up an impressive display.
