In a tough Week 1 for the Tennessee Titans, left tackle Taylor Lewan struggled against Chandler Jones of the Arizona Cardinals, who sacked him five times, twice against Lewan.
In a clip now circulating online, yet another moment captured Lewan’s difficult day as Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker overpowered him.
Baker, standing at 5 feet 10 inches and weighing 194 pounds, faced off against the much larger Lewan, who is 6 feet 7 inches and 309 pounds. The mismatch was evident.
In the video, Lewan seemed to misjudge Baker’s movement, anticipating an outside direction only to be caught off guard by Baker’s sudden change in direction.
It was a rough and humiliating play.
