In a match between the Rieleros de Aguascalientes and Toros de Tijuana, pitcher Brandon Quintero hit Gabriel Gutierrez with a baseball. This incident led to Gutierrez charging towards the pitcher with his bat, trying to strike him, but missing and then throwing his helmet in the direction of the pitcher, also missing.
As a result, both teams’ benches emptied, and multiple fights erupted on the field.
The Toros eventually emerged victorious with a score of 5-3.
