Nonetheless, some teams are lagging behind in vaccination rates among their players and coaching staff.
These teams are reportedly the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Recently, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley shared his firm stance against receiving the vaccine on Twitter. Despite facing criticism, he remains steadfast in his beliefs.
Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer highlighted last week that the NFL and NFLPA are emphasizing to players that while vaccination is not mandatory, choosing not to get vaccinated might make the upcoming year challenging.
