After playing professional baseball for a while, Tim Tebow has expressed his interest in making a comeback to the NFL.

Tebow, who is now 33 years old, last played in the NFL in 2015 for the Philadelphia Eagles. He joined the team, played in all preseason games, and was then released. Before that, he had stints with the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and New England Patriots. Since 2016, Tebow transitioned to professional baseball and was signed with the New York Mets.

News from ESPN and the NFL Network now reveals that Tebow is back in action, working out as a tight end with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This move holds a special significance for Tebow as he grew up in Jacksonville and later played for the University of Florida’s team, the Florida Gators, under coach Urban Meyer, who is now leading the Jaguars.

There are reports, as mentioned by NFL Network’s reporter Ian Rapoport, of discussions about potentially signing Tebow with the Jaguars.

During his brief NFL career with the Broncos and Jets, Tebow played only for three seasons. However, his time in baseball showed more promise. In 2019, he reached Triple-A level. Earlier this year in February, Tebow announced his retirement from MLB.
