Justin Fields sustained a significant rib injury during the game against Clemson, impacting his performance thereafter. While Ohio State is dealing with COVID-19 issues, Yahoo Sports reporter Pete Thamel indicated that these challenges weren’t substantial enough to warrant postponing the game.
Despite the speculation, as per Thamel’s sources, Ohio State is currently preparing to compete in the scheduled title game on January 11. The team appears to be moving forward with plans, acknowledging the current COVID-19 landscape and its potential for sudden changes.
