Drew Brees was forced to leave Sunday’s game due to a concerning injury, but the decision to remove him from the game proved to be the right one.

Recent reports have revealed that Drew Brees, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, has sustained multiple rib fractures on both sides of his chest along with a collapsed lung.

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, these injuries occurred over a two-week period, and the exact duration of Brees’ absence from the field remains uncertain.

So far in the 2020 season, Brees has participated in nine games for the Saints, showcasing an impressive completion rate of 73.5% with 2,196 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and just three interceptions.
