## Delonte West’s Friend Shares Moving Video as he Seeks Support
An acquaintance of Delonte West is shedding light on his situation just before he checked into rehab in Florida.
The NY Post obtained video footage from a friend who has been aiding West for some time. Lenora “Quinn” Cole revealed that she first encountered him asking for money outside a Kroger store in Las Colinas, Texas.
The necessary intervention for West came after a distressing image of him pleading for money surfaced, prompting Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to intervene. Cuban reached out to West’s mother, Delphina Addison, and facilitated his journey to a rehab center in Florida.
West has been open about his struggles with bipolar disorder during his basketball career with the Celtics, Sonics, Cavaliers, and Mavericks.
Cole, who works for a school bus service, explained, “I cover his phone bills and ensure his safety as much as possible. My income is limited, but by avoiding drinking and smoking, I can provide him with some assistance.”
“He’s going through a tough time right now, but I believe he’s finally willing to seek help to overcome his challenges and rebuild his life,” Cole added optimistically.
With the support from Mark Cuban, West seems to be on a path towards recovery.
Expressing gratitude, Cole said, “I’m extremely grateful for Mark stepping up to get him the help he needs. This is what I’ve been praying for. Delonte is like a younger brother to me, a good person. I truly believe this is a pivotal moment for him.”
