The University of Georgia excited their fans by introducing two new jerseys for the upcoming 2020 season. These jerseys pay tribute to the 1981 national champions and feature an updated version of the black jersey that has been long requested by Georgia supporters.
Georgia has introduced a throwback jersey reminiscent of the white jerseys worn during the 1980 season. It features a “40” year patch on the right shoulder and comes with new red pants to complement the white jersey.
The Bulldogs tweeted, “Something old & something new. 2020 brings the drip.”
Georgia is scheduled to start their 2020 season on Saturday, Sept. 26 against Arkansas.
