Brett Tessler, the agent of San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert, recently took to Twitter to announce that they have requested a trade for Mostert after being unable to come to terms on a contract extension.
Mostert was retained by the 49ers on a one-year exclusive rights contract in 2018 and then received a restricted free agent tender in 2019.
During the 2019 season, the 28-year-old running back amassed 772 rushing yards on 172 carries with eight touchdowns. He also contributed with 14 receptions for 180 receiving yards and two additional touchdowns.
