Jamie Foxx Shares His Physical Transformation for Portraying Mike Tyson in an Upcoming Biopic Movie

Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has taken on various roles in the past, but embodying Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic presents a unique and demanding physical challenge for him.

Known for his versatility and talent, Foxx is considered a perfect fit for the role.

Foxx announced his involvement in the role during an interview on Mark Birnbaum’s Catching up With Mark Birnbaum Instagram Live Series.

Speaking about playing real-life figures in movies, Foxx acknowledged the challenges, saying, “Doing biographies is a tough thing. Sometimes it takes 20 years to get them done, but we officially got the ball rolling.”

To transform his physique for the role, Foxx revealed his intense daily workout routine, including 60 pull-ups, 60 dips, and 100 push-ups.

He humorously mentioned the need for prosthetics to replicate Tyson’s calf muscles, highlighting the dedication to his physical preparation.

Foxx emphasized the importance of the technology involved in portraying Tyson authentically, expressing confidence that audiences will perceive him as the boxer on the street.

Reflecting on the narrative depth of the film, Foxx believes that audiences of all ages will connect with Mike Tyson’s journey.
