Shannon Brown Accused & Arrested For Firing Rifle At 2 People Entering His ‘For Sale’ Home

Shannon Brown was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on May 2nd for allegedly shooting at two individuals who entered his home that was up for sale, with the gate and front door open.

The couple noticed the “for sale” sign on the property and proceeded to enter his house. Brown reportedly confronted them by firing five or six shots as they were leaving.

“Tyrone Police Department spokesman, Philip Nelson, stated that the couple contacted the police at 9:45 P.M. Brown explained that he assumed they were trespassing when questioned about the incident. The couple claimed that the front gate and door were open at the ‘for sale’ property. They also heard someone say “come in” after announcing themselves at the location. Law enforcement found a shell casing at the scene in question.”

Brown was drafted by the Cavaliers in 2006 but gained recognition as a key player for the Lakers, winning two Championships. His NBA career ended in 2014, with an estimated net worth of $8 million.

He has been active in the BIG3 basketball league recently.
