The NFL had urged players to clean up their Twitter accounts to prevent any controversial posts, but Chase Young seems to have missed the memo.
The Washington Redskins bolstered their defensive lineup on Thursday by picking former Ohio State standout Chase Young as the second overall draft choice.
However, back in 2014, Young expressed his doubts about the Redskins in a tweet saying, “Redskins still bouta be some shit.”
During the same year, he also tweeted about the Cowboys.
Despite his past comments, Young demonstrated exceptional performance in his final season at Ohio State with 46 tackles and 16.5 sacks. If he continues to excel on the field, the Redskins will likely overlook his previous tweet.
