Kobe Bryant achieved numerous remarkable feats during his time on Earth. While his foray into the world of rap music never quite took off, it doesn’t mean he lacked talent in that area.

Despite the scarcity of officially released music by Kobe, a surprise was unearthed when Joe Budden recently showcased a yet-to-be-heard song by Kobe on The Joe Budden Podcast. This hidden gem had been laying dormant for years, waiting to be discovered. Shaquille O’Neal had sent the track to Budden.

During the podcast episode, Budden treated listeners to a snippet of the song, playing about ten seconds of it. The teaser ended with a striking lyric from Bryant, “Slash paragraphs to emphasize my emphasis.” In response, Budden expressed admiration by saying, “Come on, man. They don’t do it like Mamba.”

Regarding the song’s origin, Budden shared, “Shaq sent this to my phone. I thought this was just like, a joint that had come out but I had never heard it.”
