Odell Beckham Jr. wants to clarify the rumors.
After some ambiguous remarks about his future with the Cleveland Browns, the wide receiver took to Twitter to clear the air about the speculation surrounding him.
“I never said I was not happy in Cleveland, just like everyone else I’m hopeful for better results. Next story,” OBJ said.
The Browns had high hopes going into the 2019 season but currently hold a 5-7 record, placing them third in the AFC North. Additionally, Beckham’s receptions have decreased, and he has only scored two touchdowns.
“I couldn’t predict the future. I am here now. I can’t say whether I’ll stay, want to stay, or want to leave. This is where I am currently, and I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else. So, it’s something that, as I always say, God has a plan, and things will work themselves out in the offseason,” Beckham shared with the press on Thursday.
Odell, who is signed until 2023, has also experienced a six-game stretch without reaching 100 receiving yards for the first time in his career.
