Conor McGregor, known for his recent altercation in a Dublin bar, is now at the center of another controversy involving allegations of sexual assault.
An unnamed woman has accused McGregor of assaulting her in a vehicle parked outside a pub in Dublin just last week, adding to the legal woes of the 31-year-old former MMA fighter. McGregor has not been formally charged and is yet to be questioned by the police in connection with this latest claim.
This recent accusation comes on the heels of a previous sexual assault investigation earlier this year when McGregor was arrested in January. In that case, a woman accused him of assaulting her in Dublin in December of last year.
The legal process in Europe typically involves an arrest without immediate formal charges being filed.
McGregor, a highly paid athlete, had declared his retirement from MMA in March 2020.
