Novak Djokovic will reclaim his No.1 position in ranking because Rafael Nadal was pulled off from his second round match on Wednesday at the Paris Masters due to abdominal pain. Naval was overcoming from his right knee injury which had forced him to self-retire from his semifinal match at the US Open. Nadal took the advice of his doctors to not play the first match in Paris against Spain’s Fernando Verdasco.

Nadal told that in the last few days he started to feel a little pain in the abdomen, especially when he was serving. He checked his pain out with the doctor, and the doctor recommended him not to play as the doctor said that if he would continue playing the game then there might be a breakage in the abdomen that might lead to a more significant thing and he doesn’t want that to happen.

In the tournament which took place last year, Nadal has reportedly reached the quarterfinal, but he was pulled out from a game due to an injury. For a long time, Nadal has dealt with an on and off a knee problem, and due to his records related to injury, he doesn’t want to take any chance and prefers to be cautious.

Early in September, at the U.S. Open, the 32-year-old Tennis player, has reportedly dropped the first two opening sets the against Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro before retiring. Due to this, he has to skip the Asia swing to get into recovery and missed the tournaments in Shanghai and Beijing.

Nadal said that this is quite a resilient year for me when it comes to his injuries and this is the most important reason why he wants to catastrophic result. According to Nadal’s doctor, if Nadal wants to play the game, then he would want to win the game as well, and due to this, the abdominal will be broken for sure. Nadal has not yet confirmed whether he will play in the ATP finals in London which begins from 11th November.
