On Saturday, it was said to be all about LeBron James, but on the same day, a brawl has occurred during the debut of Lakers new star. This incident has set the stage for some kind of lengthy potential suspensions as well as it may tarnish the reputation if the charges against the LeBron’s new mates proved to be true.
The fight was said to have occurred between Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo. Brandon Ingram has then thrown a haymaker which then turned to an ugly scene at Staples Center. After the throwing to the face, Paul then punches to the Rondo’s face. After this all, Rondo, Paul as well as Ingram are ejected out of the game.
In the last, Rockets have defeated the Lakers by 124-115, but the word has been spread which says that Rondo has spat in the face of Paul. The new teammate, as well as the close friend of Carmelo Anthony, has then confirmed in the locker room where he said he had seen the spitting incident.
Anthony in a statement said that these things are not good as well as unacceptable. These things should not be done to anyone whether in sports or the streets.
This all comes when only 4 minutes 13 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The tempers got high when Ingram shoved James Harden from behind after a foul call the Lakers forward. After that, Paul and Rondo started abusing each other, and when Paul puts a finger in the Rondo’s face, Rondo quickly responded by blowing some few punches on Paul.
Till now this is not clear where and when the spitting incident has occurred as the video by the camera cannot clearly show about this event. The incident is now under investigation, and nobody knows what will be the outcome if this spitting incident is true.
