The popular American professional golfer, Tiger Woods was seen avoiding the hole spectacularly in the first rounds. In his previous games Tiger Wood was often found struggling in the first rounds while avoiding the hole. In the opening of the BMW Championship, Woods had gone out in en route of 29 to a 62 eight-under-par.
At the Aronimink Golf Club located in Newtown Square, Penn Tiger woods made a six-under front nine including an eagle on the par-5 at the 16th hole and four birdies. Tiger Woods had hit every single green in the regulation and he managed to hit seven from his nine shots to the green side that were inside 20 feet.
Ever since his 2007 tour championship, this was the first time Woods bettered approximately 30 for nine holes. This makes it the sixth time in his career where Woods broke 30 for nine holes. It was quite peculiar for Woods in a comeback season like this. He had entered the tournament at 140th on the tour in round one. His average score was 71.13 He started stumbling when he came on his 17th hole, he missed the green left of 242-yard par-3 eighth and he couldn’t get up neither could he go down for par. He offset it after he closed with a swift birdie at his par-5 ninth hole aka the ninth hole.
Tiger woods said, “I made a few putts today, right out of the gate at 10 and 11.” He even said that “Shooting 29 on the front nine helps. It was nice to post a good round today and we go off early tomorrow, so it’ll be a quick turnaround.” In accordance to the stuff that was revealed about Woods, he birdied the ninth hole which is the 18th hole and turned it with a sub-30 score.
