The Los Angeles Lakers are strengthening their team this offseason by adding top players to support their star, LeBron James. So far, the Lakers have also recruited Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee, and Lance Stephenson in this offseason.
This will be Beasley’s second time playing with James, having previously been teammates in Miami. James is familiar with Beasley’s scoring prowess, and their existing rapport could prove beneficial on and off the court.
Beasley joins a team that is aiming to compete for more than just a playoff spot next season, thanks to the presence of James. After signing James, the Lakers quickly added experienced free agents on short-term contracts. While each player brings a unique personality, they all share a common thread of athleticism.
Although Beasley may not have a significant role on the team, his scoring ability will be valuable when he takes the court. With a shortage of shooters on the Lakers roster, adding more scorers like Beasley will enhance their performance.
