Following accusations from an unidentified woman against LeSean McCoy, the NFL and the Buffalo Bills are conducting an investigation. McCoy, however, has refuted all the claims. Recently, a woman shared a photo on Instagram showing bruises and cuts on her face, accusing McCoy of causing her injuries. She also alleged that McCoy had assaulted his son and dog and used steroids. The post was later removed from Instagram.
The police in Milton, Georgia, have reported that they are investigating the case and mentioned that another woman sustained minor injuries in the incident. According to the police statement, their initial findings indicate that the suspect or suspects intentionally targeted the residence, and it was not a random occurrence. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had been physically attacked by an intruder. The intruder, during the altercation, demanded specific items from the injured woman.
No suspects have been identified yet, and the case remains an active investigation. Court records show that McCoy owns a residence on the same street where the incident took place, as confirmed by the police.
A female claiming to be a close friend of the victim alleged on Facebook that individuals were sent to the house and the woman was robbed. Shortly after that, McCoy issued a statement on Instagram denying all allegations while mentioning that he was in Miami for training.
In regards to McCoy’s history, he has played in the NFL for nine years without any suspensions from the team or the league. He was previously investigated for an altercation with two off-duty police officers in 2016, but no charges were filed against McCoy.
