Warriors disappointed over Kendrick Perkins word exchange with Stephen Curry

Warriors disappointed over Kendrick Perkins word exchange with Stephen Curry

Several Golden State Warriors players told ESPN that they were disappointed with Kendrick Perkin’s reluctance to move his leg, feet, and knees as Stephen Curry backed into the Cleveland Cavaliers big man just when the third quarter was about to get over, resulting in a verbal confrontation between the two.

Some Warrior players believe that it was a dangerous play by the Perkins and told ESPN that was the reason the guard confronted the center, resulting in the two standing in front of each other and exchanging words in front of the Cavaliers bench before they were separated.

The fear was if Curry may have suffered from an ankle sprain or a knee injury. The incident took place when Curry tossed up a wild shot to beat the buzzer, and his momentum carried him backward. Perkins, on the other hand, did not even move his knees, legs or feet and so Curry’s right leg’s backside bumped into him. When Curry was asked to comment on the matter, he told ESPN, “I’m not going to get into it. No comment.” Perkins was not available for comment.

Curry erupted for 16 in the fourth quarter of his 33 points in the frame and was a perfect 5 of 5 from beyond the arc in the eight minutes he played the quarter. Draymond Green told ESPN, Curry left the spot after the argument.
Notably, Golden State is at the highest position in the NBA Finals 2-0. Because the Warriors convincingly won the game with little controversy this time there is a very little reason left for Curry to feed more of drama with the media looking out desperately for storylines. The Game 3 will be held in Cleveland on Wednesday.
