If in the past six weeks you have been following the Dez Bryant free agency tour then you may have noted that there has not been much of new thing happening. After being released by the Cowboys on April 13, just one team has shown an interest to acquire Bryant; however, he did not show any interest to play with them although the team was reportedly ready to offer him a three-year $21 million deal.
After Bryant turned down such a deal, it was a pretty obvious confusion that if he does not want to play for Baltimore then with whom does Bryant actually wants to get associated with?
Well, now it looks like we have finally got the answer to the question. In the weekend, Bryant had shared a video on his Instagram handle after which a fan had commented and asked him where he actually wants to sign a deal, which was a normal question as the fans keep asking questions now and then through social media.
But what was not normal in this entire situation is that Bryant actually chose to reply back to the fan’s question. He said that he wants to get associated with the 49ers. Although Bryant later deleted his comment, however, in this modern world, nothing can be deleted so easily without other people knowing about it.
Of course, the biggest issues that arise here is that the 49ers do not actually have the room to accommodate an extra wide receiver for now as the team already has eleven wide receivers. Also, the team just recently added the two receivers on their roster in 2018’s draft in the form of second-round pick Dante Pettis and seventh-round pick Rickie James. The 49ers already comprise of veteran players, and from the numbers perspective, it does not look like there is any space for Bryant.
