Jason Witten believes Dez Bryant may sign a deal with Green Bay Packers

Jason Witten believes that his ex- Dallas Cowboys teammate and wide receiver Dez Bryant will become a part of the Green Bay Packers. Bryant, who has played many games along with Witten in his career, was recently released from the Cowboys team and remains to be signed by an NFL team.

On The Adam Schefter Podcast, Witten said, “I think Dez is certainly going to have some great opportunities. He’s motivated, and I think he’s going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers.”

Although the Bay Packers have already drafted three wide receivers in 2018’s NFL Draft, they still lack having established options after they released Jordy Nelson, who signed a deal with the Oakland Raiders. The Packers kept Randall Cobb and Davante Adams and signed a deal with tight end Jimmy Graham. However, Bryant’s skill of picking up the first downs and contributing in the red zone could entice quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

On Monday Night Football, Witten said that Rodgers throws the back-shoulder throw so well and Bryant maintains good chemistry with a good quarterback who can help him put the ball wherever he wishes for as Witten believes that Bryant can high point the football just like another wide receiver in the NFL.

Although it has been more than a month that the Cowboys released Bryant on April 13, no NFL team has stepped forward to sign the free agent. Despite the Baltimore Ravens showing some interest in signing him and offering him a multi-year deal, Bryant decided not to accept it as he hoped to secure a better ‘prove it’ one year deal. And if now he joins the Green Bay Packers, he may finally get a chance to contend and appear superior in his first Super Bowl appearance.
