Rob Gronkowski is now suffering from a head injury and following that he didn’t come back to the game of AFC Championship game which was played on Sunday against the Jaguars. The Patriots were missed their big player in that game, and they were like ‘Gronkless” during their comeback game.
As per the report, just before the half he got an injury in his head after a head-to-head collision with a player from the Jaguar during an incompletion up the right seam, and after that the officials immediately pulled Gronkowski off the field and sent him to the locker room for a concussion evaluation, and he was ultimately ruled out. After that, Barry Church of Jaguar was flagged for the roughness. Sources said he slammed Gronkowski to stop him from taking a throw from Tom Brady. On the other side, the absence of the player had brought a lot of trouble for the team. Before the departure, he had one catch for 21 yards off three targets which had attracted a lot of attention.
Even though Gronkowski was not there in the second half, the Patriot defeated the Jaguars by 24-20 points. The team is expected that Gronkowski will get will soon, and he will play the game which will be held on 4th February.
Stating more about the situation, Church stated “He’s a big dude, and I was just trying to dislodge the ball. But I guess they felt it was too high of a hit. Well, Church has no bad reputation.
Church has also stated about the gameplay of Gronkowski and said: “If you wait for him to catch it and bring him down, he might run you over.” New England isn’t without talented playmakers, but Gronkowski’s status is worth monitoring moving forward.
