During the 2017 golf season, Rory Mcllory suffered from the rid injury that affected his game. On Friday, during an interview, Mcllory informed about his injury. He stated that his rib injury is fine now, but he is now suffering from another health problem. It’s heart irregularity. Mcllory is now in Dubai. He has been preparing for his next games there. After a long four-month break, Mcllory look likes ready for his upcoming games.
During the interview, Rory Mcllory stated that “the rib’s fine, no problems whatsoever — I had an MRI scan on my thoracic spine and all was OK.” He further stated that he has now heart irregularity and has kept on it a priority to get it cured. Mcllory has a flat T-wave, and he will have to go through a cardiogram at every six months. Also, every year he will have to do MRI scan.
Mcllory is now going through a very hard year, and due to his bad performances in his games, his ranking in the world has gone down to No 11 from No 2.
After winning the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup in 2016, he faced a playoff loss in 2017 in South Africa. After that, he suffered from injuries, a fractured rib. Then he missed his four matches and returned in March. In April he was quite busy with his marriage. As he overdid in his preparation for the Players Championship, the injury irrupting again.
Even though he failed to play the Tour Championship, McIlroy gave a chance to regroup and played twice in Europe. In this season he will debut with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship which will start next week and then he will play the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
There are other matches that he will play in this season, and those are the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Genesis Open, Honda Classic, Valspar Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational and Dell Technologies Match Play.
