Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is set to don his uniform for what is anticipated to be the final game of his college career as he takes on BYU in the Alamo Bowl this Saturday.

Shedeur’s Alamo Bowl Cleats Spark Giants Speculation

Shedeur is projected to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, where he is expected to be among the top quarterbacks selected. There are even whispers suggesting that he could potentially be the first player picked overall.

With uncertainty surrounding their starting quarterback and a chance to secure the first overall draft pick, rumors have circulated that the New York Giants might select Shedeur with their choice. Leading up to Colorado’s match against BYU, Sanders added fuel to the speculation.

The Buffaloes quarterback showcased custom cleats inspired by the Giants, featuring their signature blue and red colors and the “NY” logo on the heel, further hinting at his potential as a top draft pick.

Giants Star Voices Frustration With New York’s Offense

As the Giants currently sit at 2-13, occupying the bottom spot in the NFC East, frustrations have begun to surface within the team. This sentiment was recently expressed by a star receiver who criticized the team’s offense, labeling it as “soft as f—k.” He also emphasized that the issues aren’t solely the responsibility of the quarterback, referring to the recently released Giants quarterback, Daniel Jones.

“Obviously, it ain’t the quarterback,” said Nabers. “Same outcome when we had DJ at quarterback. Take a look: It ain’t the quarterback.”

Nabers further aired his grievances regarding his lack of involvement, calling out head coach Brian Daboll in the process.

“First, second quarter, I don’t get the ball. Start getting targets at the end. I mean, can’t do nothing. Start getting the ball when it’s 30-0. What do you want me to do?” Nabers stated.

“Talk to Dabes about that. They come up to me and ask me what plays I want and that was that. I don’t know.”
