Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman had an amusing response to recent rumors linking him romantically with Sydney Sweeney.
There was a tweet this week connecting the Sooners star to the actress, suggesting they have been spending time together discreetly this summer.
“Sydney Sweeney and OU football player Danny Stutsman have been ‘quietly hanging out’ this summer, per my sources,” the tweet mentioned.
“Can’t have any privacy these days,” Stutsman jokingly responded.
“Man, these NIL deals are getting WILD!” commented a fan.
Sweeney, who is valued at $40 million, is engaged to Jonathan Davino, a Chicago-based entrepreneur, which makes the rumor seem implausible.
However, this isn’t the first time she has been linked with others, such as her ‘Anything but You’ co-star Glen Powell.

Meanwhile, Danny Stutsman is anticipating a successful year with OU after opting to forgo the NFL draft and staying with the Sooners for another season. In the previous season, he recorded 104 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, three sacks, and an interception, and was likely to be a second-round pick.
“Yeah, he’s a big, rangy guy,” former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops mentioned in ‘The Ref podcast.’ “He reminds me of Teddy Lehman. The length, the power, the athleticism. When he gets his hands on the ball, he’s gonna catch it. He really reminds me a lot of Rocky Calmus, which is a major compliment.”
