During ESPN’s coverage of the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans Divisional Round game last Saturday, Troy Aikman made a noteworthy comment about Jim Harbaugh’s potential future.

Michigan Wolverines head coach, Jim Harbaugh, was spotted in a suite at M&T Bank Stadium, supporting his older brother John Harbaugh and the Ravens. Aikman, upon seeing this, shared an interesting observation about the 60-year-old:

“I hope we see him in the NFL next year. He’s gonna make somebody a heckuva football coach. He’s won everywhere he’s been, beginning when he began his coaching career at (the university of) San Diego.”

Harbaugh has been in talks with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers. However, the Falcons seem to be nearing a deal with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for their coaching vacancy.

In the past week, Harbaugh led the Wolverines to a national championship win against the Washington Huskies. Previously, he coached the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014, guiding them to three NFC title game appearances and a Super Bowl 47 appearance.
