Nate Diaz never fails to surprise. The former UFC star recently attended the MF & DAZN X Series 6 in New Orleans, where he caused quite a commotion during reality star Chase DeMoor’s boxing match.
Diaz was spotted cheering loudly when he suddenly turned around and threw a water bottle at DeMoor’s head. The incident escalated quickly, and security had to intervene to prevent further damage.
DeMoor responded to the incident on Twitter and hilariously told Diaz, “Next time don’t run.”
According to TMZ Sports, DeMoor was taunting Diaz before the former UFC star threw the bottle.
DeMoor, who is best known for his appearance on Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle, made his professional boxing debut at the event. Although he appeared to have won by knockout, he was disqualified for continuing to hit his opponent while he was down.
Prior to his boxing career and reality-television stardom, DeMoor played football at Central Washington University. Diaz was reportedly ejected from the event after the altercation.
Diaz, who is no stranger to controversy, is scheduled to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round bout in August.
