As Amazon streams NFL’s “Thursday Night Football” exclusively for the first season, it continues to innovate ways for fans to enjoy the game differently.
In Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season, a new feature called “TNF in The Shop” debuts, offering an alternative stream with LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Paul Rivera. It’s similar to ESPN’s ManningCast for Monday Night Football.
LeBron’s comments on Aaron Rodgers quickly went viral during the stream, with some suggesting that he also took a swipe at the Lakers.
LeBron said, “When you have a transcendent franchise player like Aaron Rodgers… why wouldn’t you surround him with the pieces to maximize your potential?”
Paul Rivera jokingly asked, “Are we talking football or basketball here?”
