What a standout performance by Shedeur Sanders and Jackson State on this Sunday.

Sophomore quarterback Shedeur Sanders showcased his talent in the season opener against FAMU, completing an impressive 29 out of 33 passes for 323 yards and five touchdowns in Jackson State’s commanding 59-3 triumph.

The game was such a runaway success that in the fourth quarter, Shedeur Sanders took off his pads and adorned himself with jewelry while casually walking along the sidelines.

During an interview with ESPN, Shedeur even amusingly referred to himself in the third person.

As a freshman, Sanders displayed his skills with 3,231 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions, with a completion rate of 65.9%. Additionally, he rushed for three touchdowns, steering Jackson State to an impressive 11-2 record and securing the Southwestern Athletic Conference title.

Despite a strong season, Jackson State fell to South Carolina State 31-10 in the Celebration Bowl.
