During a dispute, MMA fighter Donovan Salvato was taken into custody in Nashville after allegedly biting his roommate’s testicles.
The 29-year-old supposedly caused a 2.5-inch cut to the victim’s scrotum, along with various bruises and head swelling.
As reported by scoop nashville, Salvato faces charges of domestic assault involving bodily harm.
Additional details from the arrest warrant state:
“On 11/11/2021 I responded to a domestic-related call for service at 709 Crockett St. Mr. Sosa is the roommate of the defendant. Mr. Sosa mentioned an ongoing verbal altercation with the defendant regarding his stay at the address without being on the lease.
He reported that he was hit multiple times in the face and torso by the defendant with a closed fist. Mr. Sosa also said he was bitten in the testicles by the defendant. When the police arrived, the defendant had already departed. I managed to reach the defendant by phone. He acknowledged engaging in a physical confrontation with Mr. Sosa. He claimed that strikes might have occurred due to grappling and any injuries might have been caused by contact with various objects in the house.
Mr. Sosa sustained a two to two and a half-inch cut to his scrotum, several bruises, a split lip, and head swelling. Given the consistency of the injuries with Mr. Sosa’s account, I identified the defendant as the primary aggressor.”
