Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning, leading the Braves to a 3-2 victory over the Houston Astros.

With a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, the Braves are on the verge of securing their first World Series victory since 1995. The turning point came in the sixth inning when the Atlanta offense started to gain momentum. Eddie Rosario smacked a double off Brooks Raley, marking the first Brave to reach second base that night. Subsequently, Austin Riley’s hit against Phil Maton drove Rosario home.

Swanson followed with a homer off Cristian Javier, tying the game at 2-2, and Soler swiftly followed suit by launching another home run off a Houston pitch into the bullpen, securing a crucial lead change for the Braves. The Astros’ Yordan Alvarez watched helplessly as Soler’s shot sailed over him.

Despite previous criticism for missed opportunities, Kyle Wright played a crucial role in keeping the Braves steady until Rosario sparked the offense.
