Brendan Schaub Rescued 3 Kids from a Tragic Accident While Their Mother Lost Her Life

Brendan Schaub, a former UFC fighter, played a crucial role in saving several children from a horrific car crash where the driver intentionally drove into oncoming traffic, allegedly attempting to harm his own family. Schaub shared the harrowing experience on his podcast, “The Fighter and the Kid.”

While driving with his wife in Encino, Calif., they encountered the accident scene. Schaub noticed a jackknifed tractor-trailer obstructing lanes on the 101 freeway. As they approached, he saw a child atop a mangled vehicle signaling for help.

Spotting the distressed child, Schaub recounted the urgency of the situation to his wife. He then bravely approached the wreckage where he discovered multiple children and another individual trapped inside the vehicle. Despite the perilous scene, he didn’t hesitate to take action.

After convincing his wife to stay in the car, Schaub, along with another bystander, assisted in rescuing the children. He narrated the heart-wrenching moment when a young child inside the car pleaded, “I don’t want to die,” to which Schaub reassured the child of safety before extricating them from the wreckage.

Upon rescuing another child, Schaub sadly observed the lifeless body of the children’s mother in the front seat, covered in blood and brain matter. Shielding the child from witnessing the tragic sight, he redirected the child’s attention to him.

Schaub also witnessed the suspected driver fleeing the scene, later identified as Cesar Iban Torre, who was charged with heinous crimes including murder, attempted murder, child abuse, and assault after causing the fatal crash.

Furthermore, Schaub initiated a GoFundMe page to support the affected children financially. Eager to assist the family, he expressed his willingness to contribute to the funeral expenses and provide ongoing support to the kids.

Schaub emphasized his commitment to helping the children by raising funds and extending assistance in any way possible during this traumatic ordeal.
