Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley are set to face off in a high-stakes boxing match on August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio. Along with pride and a hefty sum of cash, there’s now an unusual wager on the line.
During their recent press conference, the fighters decided to spice things up by adding a tattoo bet to their showdown: The loser is obliged to get a tattoo declaring their “love” for the winner and share it on Instagram.
Jake Paul proposed the bold bet, challenging Woodley with, “If I win, you have to get ‘I love Jake Paul’ inked on you, but if you beat me, I’ll get ‘I love Tyron Woodley’ tattooed on me, and you must post it on your Instagram. Deal or no deal?”
After seeking input from the audience, Woodley ultimately agreed to the daring wager, sealing the deal with a handshake.
While both fighters may claim to honor their bet, it remains to be seen if they’ll actually follow through. Perhaps involving legal counsel would be wise to formalize this unconventional agreement.
